Football traditions keep alums connected

ast October, black alumni gathered for tailgating in the Grove before the Homecoming game and stayed to see Rose Flenorl inducted as president of the Alumni Association. Ole Miss alumni were also on hand when the Rebels beat Texas Tech 47-34 in the 2009 AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic in Dallas. Many attended festivities, including a New Year’s Eve party, prior to the Jan. 2 game.

Mark your calendars for Homecoming 2009, taking place Oct. 17. Join other alumni for tailgating in the Grove before the Rebels take on the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
