Since
The Inn at Ole Miss started offering Sunday brunch last September, hotel guests
and other customers have enjoyed one of the hidden gems of the area. With so
many local restaurants closed on Sundays, brunch at The Inn provides one of the
few top-notch dining options for visitors. But it is one with a wide variety and several amenities.
Located
in the Gertrude C. Ford Ballroom of The Inn, the Sunday brunch provides enough
space to accommodate up to 150 guests in a comfortable on-campus environment.
The offerings include an omelet and waffle station, a carving station, anti-pasto
display, fruit bar and an extensive selection of southern style breakfast and
lunch items. The brunch is open from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. NFL broadcasts are
shown on the pull-down video screens of the ballroom.
“Having
brunch in the ballroom is a great use of this facility,” said Inn at Ole Miss
manager Gaye Bukur. “It’s been a benefit
to our guests, and we’ve had many customers from the local community too.”
Banquet
Manager Graham Harrell said “Our goal is to provide our guests with an
experience that balances relaxed elegance with southern hospitality."
The
brunch costs $15.95 per person, $9.95 for children ages 6-12 and children 5 and
under eat for free.
